Final Call: East Coast PPTI Applications

Back by popular demand – the 2024 East Coast Public Policy Training Institute is accepting final applications from select non-profit workers across Atlantic Canada! Classes will take place in Halifax beginning April 18. Through collaborative workshops and experienced mentorship, students will develop and complete a policy proposal and a plan to implement a policy of their choosing.

Regular applications have closed. We are still accepting applications on a first come, first served basis from:

  • Non-profit workers serving communities outside of Halifax Regional Municipality (e.g., rural NS, NB, PEI, NFLD). Please note that we cover all travel costs and hotel rooms for individuals travelling from outside Halifax.
  • Non-profit workers who identify as belonging to a marginalized community (e.g., 2SLGBTQIA+, Indigenous, Black & African Nova Scotian, etc.).
