More Equitable Micromobility

United Way Maritimes is proud to partner with Bird Canada for More Equitable Micromobility, part of HRM’s shared
micromobility pilot project.

Flex-Fare Zones

Rides in Flex-Fare Zones receive an automatic 50% discount. Visit halifax.ca/sharedmicromobility to see service area map including Flex-Fare Zones. The map will be updated regularly as the service area expands and new Flex-Fare Zones are added. New Flex-Fare Zones will be added over time as the pilot expands in phases throughout HRM.

Any ride that starts or ends within a Flex-Fare Zone receives an automatic 50% discount—even if you travel outside of the zone during your ride!

Community Pricing Program

The Community Pricing Program offers enrolled users a 50% discount on up to four rides per day, valid throughout the entire service area—even beyond the Flex-Fare Zones. The Community Pricing program is available to low-income users, seniors, veterans, employees of nonprofit & community-based organizations, newcomers and more!
