Nominations for the 2024 Invisible Champion Awards are officially closed. We look forward to awarding the winners!
Aligned with the Day of Recognition for the Nonprofit Sector, the awards hold a special place in acknowledging the nonprofit sector’s impact, diversity, and future. Sponsored by Raksha M. Bhayana and the Bhayana Family Foundation, the event will feature 20 awards of $1,000, recognizing outstanding commitment to the community in 2023. These awards encompass individuals, teams, and organizations that embody the essence of the Invisible Champion Awards.
Eligibility
- Individuals
- Paid front-line staff of a nonprofit in Nova Scotia.
- Permanent or contract front-line staff with at least one year of service.
- Not open to self-nominations or nominations of family members.
- Past award recipients within the last ten years are ineligible.
- Organizations
- Nonprofit organizations based in Nova Scotia, including charities, social enterprises, and voluntary organizations.
- Staff teams or partnerships may be nominated.
- Past award recipients within the last ten years are ineligible.
