Bhayana Invisible Champion Awards – Call for Nominations!
Nominations are now closed! Stay tuned for an announcement of the winners on October 14!
We’re excited to announce that nominations are open for the Bhayana Invisible Champion Awards. This year we’re presenting the awards in partnership with the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia and the Province of Nova Scotia. Along with a new name, the awards are expanding this year to be province wide. These awards recognize the extraordinary people and nonprofit organizations making a difference in our community. We are proud to celebrate the unsung heroes in the nonprofit sector working tirelessly to create possibility and make change in Nova Scotia.
Nominations are open to individuals AND nonprofit organizations across Nova Scotia. In total, 20 recipients will be awarded $1,000 each. We know that front-line staff in our sector do amazing work with limited resources. The awards are to be used by the recipients to better equip them to do their important work. The awards recognize creativity, diversity, inclusivity, dedication, team building, leadership, community partnership, and sector sustainability. Your nomination can focus on year-round service delivery as well as in response to COVID-19.
