Wildfire Recovery Appeal – Phase Two, HRM

United Way Halifax recognizes the devastating impact of the wildfires for so many in our province. Thanks to support from our generous donors, United Way Halifax is accepting applications from registered charities, incorporated non-profits and Indigenous Governing Bodies who are seeking funds to support their wildfire response programming and services. These funds will help cover expenses for those impacted by the wildfires and evacuations in Upper Tantallon and Hammonds Plains.

The United Way Halifax Wildfire Recovery Appeal will specifically focus on those experiencing poverty or marginalization, to support people who may have limited access to resources and social supports during the recovery process.

Application Deadline: Friday, September 1,  2023 at 12:00 pm.
