2022 Housing Symposium

- This event has passed.
November 21, 2022 @ 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Nova Scotians know that we are in a housing crisis. Due to market conditions, increasing costs, and inadequate incomes a growing number of our friends, family, and communities are struggling to find and maintain housing that meets their needs. Within the last year the number of actively homeless individuals has risen significantly across the province, and more than doubled in Halifax. And, once again, winter is just around the corner making the situation that much more dire.
This year’s Housing Symposium will prioritize lived experience perspectives and take a solutions-focused approach to discussing the Housing Crisis. We’ll share research and successful implementation from elsewhere in Nova Scotia, across Canada and around the world.
