Housing & COVID-19: Community Experiences – Future Opportunities
The Housing Symposium is an educational and networking event focusing on some of the most pressing issues around homelessness and affordable housing in Halifax Regional Municipality. By bringing together critical voices in the field, participants learn about current best practices, trends, issues, and solutions to the issues surrounding affordable housing and homelessness in Halifax.
This year, in the face of COVID-19, we are highlighting some of the community responses and experiences during this unprecedented time and what we are learning from these experiences to prepare us for the future.
The Housing Symposium will be of interest to participants from the public service and health, housing providers, and other agencies, organizations, and individuals with a concern about housing and how community is addressing these needs.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will be presented via livestream. Please click here to register.
(For those without access to internet, data or the required technology, there will be viewing sites available for participation; stay tuned for details).
