Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, the Halifax Harbour Swim - scheduled for September 12 - has been postponed. The safety of the swimmers is of utmost important. We thank you for your patience as we work to reschedule this community-rallying event.

Last year, over 60 swimmers crossed the harbor for United Way. This year, help us reach our goal of 100 swimmers! Participants must be able to swim 1500 metres in 40 minutes and raise a minimum of $150 for United Way Halifax in order to participate. If you’re a business, you can support the swim by encouraging staff to put a team of five swimmers together.

Head to Bishop’s Landing during your lunch break and cheer on the swimmers! There will be entertainment, a by-donation barbeque and lots of family-friendly activities. We hope to see you there!
Take advantage of the hundreds of local loving cheerleaders crowding the Halifax Waterfront and give back to the local community at the same time. It's a win-win situation.
