SUMMARY:Menstrual May
DESCRIPTION:United Way Halifax needs your help for Menstrual May! \nMenstrual May is a menstrual product collection effort presented by United Way Halifax\, NSGEU and Halifax Public Libraries. We’re asking businesses and individuals in our network to collect and donate as many menstrual products as possible. \nOnce the drive is completed\, teams of volunteers will deliver the menstrual products to United Way funded agencies and community organizations serving women and transgender individuals. \nDonations will be accepted at the following locations between May 8 – 29: \n–             NSGEU’s head office (255 John Savage Avenue\, Dartmouth) \n–             all of Halifax Public Libraries’ 14 branches (from Musquodoboit Harbour to Tantallon) \nMaking menstrual products available in bathrooms throughout the city is another small way to help alleviate the burden of poverty. If your business can make menstrual products available in your bathroom\, please do! \nWith your help\, fewer people in our community will be forced to choose between buying the menstrual products they need\, or paying for other necessities like food\, medication or transportation. \nThanks in advance for your support!
