DESCRIPTION:Zhuzh It Up Day for United Way: The opposite of Casual Friday.\nWith so many folks now working from home\, every day is casual day. Or\, perhaps in our Zoom world\, it’s a hybrid of business casual on the top\, and comfy cozy on the bottom. Either way\, casual Fridays have lost their meaning. Aren’t you craving a bit of a fashion challenge? As we begin to reconnect with colleagues and friends in ways that suit your workplace – whether in-person\, hybrid\, or virtual – let’s put the fun back in fundraising and take on this fashion challenge in support of United Way Halifax. \nZhuzh\n/ʒʊʒ/ \nverb\nto make (something) more lively and interesting\, stylish\, or appealing\, as by a small change or addition (usually followed by the word ‘up’). In other words\, make it fancy! \nHow to Participate\n\nClick here to register your workplace and build your fundraising team page\n– registration cost is $100 donation\nPromote it in your workplace and encourage employees to sign up and post a photo of their zhuzhed up outfits\n– individual registration is $10 donation\n– all participants must be registered before Zhuzh It Up Day on April 1\nPromote and vote!\n– encourage your employees to vote for their favourite outfits in the categories of Best Canadian Tuxedo\, Best Haute Couture\, Best Business on top/Party on bottom\n– each vote cost a minimum $2 donation\n– or simply donate on your team page\nFriday\, April 1\, Zhuzh It Up Day: May the best dressed and top fundraisers win!\n– top fundraising team wins a HFX Wanderers Game Day Party Experience for 20 people (valued at $2\,000)\n– best dressed individual prizes include Zhuzh It Up gift baskets full of local gift certificates\n\nCommitted Partners
