SUMMARY:Special Members Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Notice is hereby given that the President and CEO of United Way Halifax will hold a Special Meeting of Members on May 31\, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Boat Club\, 1641 Fairfield Rd.  The purpose of this Special Members Meeting is to adopt the motions required to bring together United Way Halifax with six other United Ways organizations located in Nova Scotia\, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island under a new regional organization. \nOn May 1\, 2023\, each of the seven boards of directors voted in favour of a resolution to proceed with the due diligence and planning required to combine the organizations into a single new entity.
