DESCRIPTION:You give the pledge\, they take the plunge!\nWe’re excited to see the Nova Scotia Harbour Swim event back on the Halifax waterfront\, in person\, all in support of United Way Halifax. This marks the 11th year the Province has organized this incredible event\, and we encourage everyone to support the swim in any way you can: \n\nTAKE THE PLUNGE\nIf you are able to swim 1500 metres in approximately 40 minutes AND you feel confident that you can raise $150 in pledges (or more!) for United Way Halifax\, you can sign up and join the hundred or so swimmers as they cross the Halifax Harbour from the Woodside Ferry Terminal to Bishop’s Landing.Click here to REGISTER as a swimmer \nMAKE A PLEDGE\nIf swimming across one of the largest and deepest ice-free harbours in the world isn’t your thing\, support the swimmers with a donation to United Way Halifax.Click here to SPONSOR a swimmer with a donation to United Way Halifax\nCHEER THEM ON\nHead down to the Halifax Waterfront near Bishop’s Landing on Wednesday\, Sept. 7 at 11:30 a.m. to cheer on the swimmers! There will be a BBQ\, music\, and lots of courageous swimmers that love hearing your cheers from the wharf as they cross the harbour.\n\n
