DESCRIPTION:United Way Halifax is holding our first-ever Virtual Annual General Meeting on Wednesday\, September 9th and we hope you’ll be able to tune in. We know that a virtual format isn’t the same as seeing you in person\, but we hope you’ll appreciate the opportunity to hear what we’re up to while making public health a priority. \nThis event is an opportunity to receive an update on our 2019 highlights and financial statements. You’ll hear a little bit more about our outlook for 2020-21\, our collaboration with Atlantic United Ways during the COVID-19 pandemic\, and our commitment to addressing racism and inequity. We’re also pleased to be introducing several new board members. \nRegistration will be required to attend.
