The Community Fund is the source of all funding available for United Way to carry out community work. This includes research, partnerships, convening, advocacy as well as funding.  All Community Fund investment in community aligns with four strategies to change social conditions. The strategies focus on opportunities to reduce poverty, neighbourhood support to create centres and hubs that strengthen neighbourhoods, healthy living and physical activity so people can be more active and social capital helping people build trust and increase their sense of belonging.
