Neighbourhoods are central to a strong community. Research shows children do better when families do better. And families do better when neighbourhoods are strong. Action for Neighbourhood Change is one United Way's answers to the question of economic and social challenge in neighbourhoods. People in neigbourhoods can become involved and make positive changes that fit with their community. Residents can address the issues by engaging and revitalizing so change can take place.
