The Youth Grants Selection Committee is an awesome group of volunteers who are 25 and under who get together and make funding decisionson the United Way Youth Grants. They read over the grants as a group, they discuss each grant and what’s great about it versus what needs work, then they reach consensus and decide which projects get funded. Emma C. is the Youth Grants Coordinator at United Way and she is always there for support and to answer questions.

There are good snacks at every meeting and we make sure that you get bus tickets so you don’t have to pay to volunteer with us.

The next selection meeting is on Saturday October 1st, 2011 from 11am to 5pm.
