There are many ways to give. When you donate to our community you are contributing to stability and strength for everyone.
Donate Money
You can donate through payroll deduction in your workplace or click here to make a donation using a credit card. Your generosity will impact people in every part of our community. As a CEO of a business or organization you demonstrate leadership to your employees when you agree to make a corporate gifts from businesses or organization.
Donate Time
Giving your time to an organization can give a great feeling of personal accomplishment. Being part of a team working at an agency that needs a coat of paint or help building a shed, builds team spirit and cooperation. Organize a group of fellow employees and sign up for one of United Way's Days of Caring. With 57 funded agencies, there are always projects that need to be completed. Donate Your Unique Skills
Working to help a person or an organization in our community is a way for you to meet new people, be involved, and gain a sense of accomplishment. Volunteers are often heard to say, "I never give as much as I get back when I volunteer!" If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, click here for opportunities here in the HRM that may fit with your schedule.
