DESCRIPTION:October 14 marks Nova Scotia’s first annual Provincial Day of Recognition for the Non-profit Sector and the announcement of the Bhayana Family Foundation Invisible Champion Award winners! \nThe Bhayana Family Foundation Invisible Champion Awards recognize the extraordinary people and nonprofit organizations making a difference in our community. This will be our third year presenting the awards in HRM\, but we’re excited to be expanding the awards to be province-wide and presenting them alongside the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia and the Province of Nova Scotia. \nPlease join us on Facebook Live as we celebrate the unsung heroes in the non-profit sector who work tirelessly to create possibility and make change in Nova Scotia! \nThe virtual celebrations will include: \n\na flag raising at Province House in Halifax\npresentation of the twenty Bhayana Family Foundation Invisible Champion Award winners\nremarks from the Honourable Myra Freeman\, former Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia; Premier Stephen McNeil; and the Honourable Leo A. Glavine\, Minister of Communities\, Culture and Heritage
