United Way of Halifax Region

Funding agencies is one way United Way supports and promotes a stronger community. Agencies seeking to renew funding apply in the fall each year and participate in a thorough volunteer panel review.

New agencies complete a brief Expression of Interest which is reviewed by staff to ensure there is an understanding of the principles and criteria. If the review is positive, the agency is invited to apply during the next round of funding.
