Day of Caring

Day of Caring is a unique opportunity for volunteers from workplaces that support United Way, to participate in a team building experience while helping a community agency. Employees complete the painting, repairing or landscaping project together and learn more about our community while they work. Skill level for volunteers is minimal but the impact of completed projects is huge!

Projects range from:
  • Painting, interior and exterior
  • Landscaping and yard clean up
  • Simple renovations to accommodate a person with disability
  • Providing training workshops
  • Installing sports equipment
  • Moving office equipment

Day of Caring occurs twice a year in the spring and fall. Alternative datesthat fit with organizational schedules can be arranged.
